USPS FMLA Class Action

John Cyncar v. United States Postal Services

A class of 50,000 employees filed a class action lawsuit alleging that the United States Postal Service discriminated against disabled employees with regard to requests for leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Mr. Pohl oversaw the administration of the notice program and claims process, including an individual review of each claim to determine benefit amounts based on the allocation methodology established for the $3.85 million settlement.
